In Get Glowing With..., we talk to the women catching our eye about what they’re doing, eating and loving right now. Next up is Bondi-based Lucy Folk.

A goldsmith by trade and self-confessed nomad, Folk’s eponymous line of playful accessories and apparel counts everyone from Beyoncé to Phoebe Tonkin as fans. We visited her sunny beachside apartment in January to talk natural skincare and the breakfast she swears by.

I describe what I do as… Creative Director of my brand. We are creating a lifestyle brand that reflects my love for life and travel. I work across all facets of the business but my focus is on design, the creative direction and the next steps! We have another exciting collaboration due to launch later this year which is always a challenge. I love it as I get to learn about another product category!

At the moment I’m based... between Sydney and L.A. After the first few months of this year, I’ll decide where to set up camp!

My morning routine is… pretty relaxed. At the moment I walk every morning and do a short meditation. I swim if I am in Sydney, make a smoothie and get ready for work.

My go-to breakfast… is my famous coconut matcha smoothie. Fresh coconut and it’s flesh, lots of greens—currently rainbow chard and kale—fresh mint, a quarter of an avocado. Then I add a tablespoon each of hemp seeds and HYDRATION elixir by you guys, a teaspoon of matcha, maca and spirulina, and usually some mushroom adaptogens that change pending my mood!

My skincare routine is… very basic. I use a living libations cleanser and Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. I use a mineral-based sunscreen bronzing powder daily, too.

The most important skincare lesson I’ve learned is… that it’s all about diet, hydration and natural skincare products for me. I always wear a hat to protect my face from sun damage.

I feel most glowy… in summer when I’m on holidays and relaxed!

My approach to self-care consists of… regular facials by Fumi Yamamoto in Sydney, James Vivian in Melbourne and Elaine Huntzinger in Paris pending my location. Lots of walking. I eat mostly organic and I rarely eat meat.

To de-stress… CBD oil has been great for me! And my boyfriend helps with stress as he is very relaxed so when we are together I switch off.
