Our Next-Generation Fermentation Process
Alongside our team of microbiologists, we’ve worked hard to get to know our beneficial bacteria even better and have tailor-made our fermentation process, FloraCulture™, to suit their needs. This has meant adding in more nutrient-rich wholefoods and tweaking GLOW’s base formula, thereby allowing our beneficial bacteria to reach peak concentration. We’re also better able to control everything from the temperature, oxygen and pH of each fermentation and closely monitor this process—even checking on it in the middle of the night—to ensure that we reach optimal bacterial counts. This means that GLOW is now more potent, more bioavailable and contains more probiotics and postbiotics!
Our New And Nourishing Ingredients
GLOW now contains more antioxidants, polyphenols and phytonutrients to provide comprehensive support to your skin and to nourish your microbiome. Plus, we’ve upped the level of our favourite microalgae, Dunaliella salina, in order to double the formula’s provitamin A content. This is important for the cellular turnover process and supports healthy immune function. You’ll find also extra zinc to support skin integrity and structure, plus more vitamin C for collagen formation.
But perhaps what I’m most excited about is the addition of a complete complex of B vitamins, produced from organic quinoa sprouts. This broad-spectrum complex contains biotin for healthy hair, skin and energy production, as well as niacinamide, which is integral for normal skin function and structure and helps with the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. What’s more, these B vitamins are activated, or ‘biologically active’, meaning they’ve already been converted into a form that the body can use.
Another exciting addition to the new formula is Lactobacillus rhamnosus GUT5Y™, our very own probiotic strain that supports digestive wellbeing and skin health. Lactobacillus rhamnosus is one of the world's most widely studied species of probiotics and comes with a wealth of research.
