HYDRATION should be stored in the fridge and be consumed within 45 days of opening.

Yes, you can absolutely combine The Beauty Chef products together. SLEEP and GUT PRIMER can be taken as per the label directions for use, and the remainder of the range can be taken up to two serves daily. These can be consumed either together or individually – in filtered water, coconut water, juices or smoothies. Recommended serving sizes can be found on the bottle/jar.

Unfortunately, as indicated on the label, this product is not suitable for use in pregnancy. Whilst the ingredients in HYDRATION SUPERCHARGED may be consumed by pregnant women, we recommend speaking with your healthcare professional if you wish to take this product. It is also worth noting that it is not an electrolyte replacement drink and therefore we do not recommend it in place of electrolyte drinks which may have been prescribed for you during labour.

Our products are wholefood supplements that contain probiotics and postbiotics, rather than probiotic supplements. Whilst probiotics are an important part of The Beauty Chef’s Inner Beauty products, they are just one element that contributes to the many benefits. Our point of difference is our exclusive Flora Culture™ fermentation process. While probiotics you may find in the supermarket often only carry one or two species or strains, our formulas offer multiple, natural, food-based strains to help encourage microbial diversity. The addition of prebiotic-rich ingredients also helps to nourish the beneficial bacteria in your gut to further boost and balance digestive health. If you are experiencing a medical condition whereby your health practitioner has recommended a particular strain or species at a certain level, you may need additional supplementation.

While many of the original ingredients remain the same, HYDRATION SUPERCHARGED now contains more fermented coconut water than before, while we’ve also added refreshing finger lime, cucumber and magnesium. The final formulation contains 58mg of magnesium per 15mL serve (18% of the Australian RDI), which is important for nerve and muscle function as well as balancing the electrolytes in your cells—an important aspect of skin and body hydration. We’ve also supercharged this elixir by adding important trace minerals from Australian sea waters. We have also refined our process to bring more fermented gut loving goodness to our formulas. This means that our formulations deliver enhanced gut-skin benefits as well as improving the digestibility and bioavailability of the wholefoods being fermented. Combined, these changes boost the refreshment and hydration capabilities of this delicious concentrate—meaning more body and skin hydration, for you!

As HYDRATION SUPERCHARGED now contains more fermented coconut water as well as magnesium, fermented cucumber and finger lime, the product now has a slightly hazy appearance.

While we have worked hard to keep HYDRATION SUPERCHARGED as true to its original flavour as possible, formulation changes mean that the final elixir tastes a little different. With more fermented coconut water, finger lime, cucumber and magnesium citrate—the product is slightly less sweet than what you may be used to as the magnesium naturally has a slightly tart, acidic taste.

Although the words “dry” and “dehydrated” are often used interchangeably, when it comes to your skin, they are two very different things. We have a blog that delves into the details, but essentially, dry skin is linked to the lipids in your skin while dehydrated skin is linked to the amount of water in your skin. This means that sometimes, you may need to support your skin in both ways, ensuring it’s well hydrated, but also that you’re including good fats as well.
